Western Michigan University’s Campus Activity Board presents Kris Allen with Kalamazoo native Matt Giraud! Both singer/songwriters got their start on the 8th season of American Idol, Matt Giraud finished 5th while Kris Allen was the winner! After Idol, Kris Allen went on to write the hit single “Live Like We’re Dying,” which made it to top ten of US Pop Charts. Allen’s latest album was release March 18, 2016.
Bronco alumnus, singer-songwriter Matt Giraud will also be performing at the Kalamazoo State Theatre October 19th. Giraud, best known for his cover of Ray Charles’ “Georgia on My Mind,” and his song “4 AM” will be returning to perform in his hometown!
