As part of our KalamaBrew membership, we are launching a series of events where the public shares a pint of Kalamazoo-area beer while learning more about a unique location.
For this event, guests will receive two pints of beer and a tour backstage of the historic Kalamazoo State Theatre.
Designed by renowned architect John Eberson and built by founder Colonel William Butterfield in 1927. The Kalamazoo State is one of the very few remaining atmospheric picture palaces intact. It currently serves as a performance hall for musicians, comedians, and other live entertainment in the Kalamazoo area.
