We are excited to announce our next Artist Spotlight Livestream Series event Thursday, 8/6/20 featuring The Celeste Allison Trio live from the Kalamazoo State Theatre stage! Join the band on the Kalamazoo State Theatre Facebook page at 7:30pm for a free live performance and Q&A.
Southwest Michigan’s Celeste Allison Trio brings an intimacy to their sophisticated yet accessible music. Winners of the 2020 Kalamazoo Fretboard Festival Play-In Contest, the trio also released a new EP this year titled, “Heaven’s Perfume.”
Fueled by the agile vocals of Celeste Allison, guitarist Adam Main and bassist Anders Dahlberg bring their skills and experience to the group’s semi-acoustic originals and unique covers.
“This fetching indie-pop/folk/jazz outfit has honed its sound and hit its strideon Record No. 2 with infectious melodies and sweet vocals that complement the group’s acoustically based approach.” – John Sinkevics.
