how to do." Henry Rollins. The
brutally honest and sometimes outspoken Henry Rollins is returning
to the Kalamazoo State Theatre Thursday, October 27th, 2005. This
past spring Rollins completed a spoken word tour in Australia, as
well as his fifth USO tour in the South Pacific. Rollins has won
a Grammy Award for best spoken-word record "Get in the Van."
Always outspoken, Rollins accepts dozens of speaking engagements
throughout the year and is known for bringing a raw energy to his
talks.
Rollins is known beyond the spoken word world
for his time fronting the intense punk rock band Black Flag during
the 1980’s. His current music project, metal rock outfit Rollins
Band, released their latest album in 2003 on Rollins’ label
2.13.61 Records. Rollins has been involved in various television
and movie endeavors and won a Grammy for Best Spoken Word or Non-Musical
Album in 1994.
